I am against Japan increasing its consumption tax. I understand that our lives can be better because more money will be available for social security, like Northern Europe which increased its tax to 20 %.

However, lets look and think about the lives of the younger population (mainly in their 20s).
According to my friend who works, the monthly salary, after subtracting taxes and insurance payment, for most people the income is about 200,000 yen. As it is clear from data taken by the National Tax Administration Agency, the average yearly income is between 2,480,000 to 3,440,000 yen, making the monthly income between 200,000 to less than 300,000 yen.

I disagree with Japan's increasing GST. I understand there is a possibilities to make our lives better by raising tax as Northern Europe countries have raised tax to 20% so that government gain more money so it can use more money for social welfare.

However, let's think about young generations(especially twenties).
According to my friends, their monthly salary, is mostly about 200,000JPY after deducting tax and insurance fees. This is obvious from National Tax Agency's data, the average annual salary for twenties are about 2,480,000 to 3,440,000JPY so monthly salary is about 200,000 and less than 300,000JPY.

I disagree with the idea of raising consumption tax in Japan. By increasing the tax by 20%, I understand the amount of money which the government can use for the social security will increase, so there is a possibility to be able to improve our quality of life.

However, considering the life of today's young people(mainly in their 20's).
As far as I heard from my acquaintances who are corporate employees, many of them receive two hundred thousand yen per month, the sum is a present price excluded a tax and an insurance cost. The data from National Tax Agency also tells us this obviously. The average annual income of 20's is from 2.48 million to 3.44 million, less than from 2 hundred thousand to 3 hundred thousand yen.

I'm against the consumption tax hike in Japan. I understand that the nation can have more money for social security by increasing 20% of tax as in the Northern Europe, thus there is a potential that our life would be better.

But, let's have a look at young people's lives today (mainly 20-year old) .
As far as I know from what a working friend told me, he gets around 200.000 JPY as salary after deducting taxes and insurances. This is evident from National Tax Agency data saying that the average revenus are between 2.480.000 JPY and 3.440.000 JPY, it means that the revenus are not more than between 200.000 JPY and 300.000 JPY.

If there is an increase in tax, what will happen. I think that young people's lives will be destroyed. The reason behind working is different depending on the person, but most people will not have any peace of mind in their lives, not being able to do what they enjoy, and just work for the sake of staying alive. There will be no meaning left in life. I think that in order to increase the tax, there needs to be enough salary paid.
Also, with the increased tax, I do not know if the benefit will be visible to average citizens in Japan.
Therefore, I am against large increases in the consumption tax.

What if tax will be increased more? I believe young generations' life will be collapsed.
Everyone has his/her own reason for working, but I wonder that people cannot afford to live, cannot have leisure, just work for life. If so life becomes aimless. I think sufficient salary should be paid if government wants to raise tax.
In addition, it is ambiguous what kind of reward will be provided for citizen in Japan now.
That is why I am against increasing lots of GST.
