Text encoding that can be read depends on the text editor or application you use.
If text gets garbled, change the text encoding.
Since Windows built-in note application does not support a new line code in any text encoding, you need to use other text editor.
When sending e-mail with a text file attached,
if its title or user ID contains characters that doesn't exist in the selected text encoding, the text file will not be attached.
(Example: Selecting ASCII or Latin when it contains Japanese)

Depending on what text editor or app you use, compatible character code may be different, so please change the character code if you have character corruptions.
Because the memo installed in Windows is not compatible with any linefeed code, you need to use another text editor.
When you send email with an attached text file, the text file can't be attached if there is any character that is not included in the character code in the title or user ID. (i.e. choosing ASCII or Latin with Japanese words included.)

Acceptable character codes differ depending on the kinds of text editors and apps you use. So please change the present character code if you get gables.
As no line feed code is available for any character codes of the Windows standard notepad.exe, you have to use other “text editor".
When you email with a text file attached, you may not be able to send the file if your mail title or user ID has characters that are not certified by its character codes.
(For example, if you use ASCII or Latin mixed with Japanese characters)

Regards,

Client
