島根県立大学短期大学部松江キャンパスは6月28日、くにびきメッセ国際会議場で「ご縁の国しまね 観光コンベンションin松江」を開催。同校の学生のほか、沖縄や東京など県外からの参加者も含めた観光関係者・コンベンション関係者など、合わせて約200人が集まった。
島根県内の観光は、出雲大社をはじめ東部地域を中心に展開しているが、今回は雲南市吉田町、隠岐郡海土町（あまちょう）、県西部の津和野町などの地域文化を活かした観光推進の高まりを受けて実施された。

The treasure of Shimane to the world
June 28, Shimane Prefectural College of Matsue campus held a "Goennokuni Shimane Tourism convention in Matsue at kunibiki Messe Ingeternational Conference Hall. In addition to the students of the school, and tourism and Convention related visitors, including participants from outside the prefecture, such as Okinawa and Tokyo, about 200 people together gathered.
Tourism in Shimane Prefecture, has developed around the eastern region, including the Izumo Taisha, but the convention was held to promote the tourism of rather culture from local town, and from the rise of the popularity of Yoshida town Unnan City, Ama town Oki gun and Tsuwano town of west part.

Despaching Shimane's treasure to the world
Shimane prefecture junior collage Matsue campus held "Goen no Kuni (the place people meet) Shimane sight-seeing convention in Matsue" at Kunibiki international convention center on 6/28. Around 200 people showed up including not only the students but also tourists from outside of Shimane like Tokyo and Okinawa, and convention staff.
Shimane's sight seeing spots are spread mostly east side of Shimane starting from Izumo Taisha( Izumo Shrine) though, this convention was held because of the mood to promote their tour spots elevated from local towns like Yoshida-cho, Shinan city Ama-cho Oki county and west side city Tsuwano-cho.

In addition to the students of the University, about 200 people who are in involved in tourism and convention including those from other prefectures such as Okinalwa and Tokyo participated in it.
