I removed the shrink after arrival in Japan, and the paint on it peeled off.
The probability that the cause for peeling off is due to shock during shipping would be low because it was packed firmly when sending it to Japan.
I have not used it of course nor dropped or hit to something.
I guess that it is the initial failure. Is it possible to exchange it by the manufacturer?
I will sell it as an imperfect products. Is it possible to make some discount because the locus of responsibility has not been clarified?

After arriving in Japan and removing the shrink wrap, the paint fell off all over. Since it was wrapped carefully for transport to Japan, I think it is unlikely to have been damaged in transit. Of course, I have not used it, dropped it or bumped it on anything. In eventuality it seems as if it is a faulty item from manufacture, is it possible to have a replacement made by the manufacturer? If this is too difficult I will sell it in Japan as imperfect but in this case as the the responsibility is not clear, is it possible to ask for a discount?

I unpacked the goods after I arrived in Japan, the painting came off easily.
I believe it's not transport damage because I packed the goods tightly when I trasfer it to Japan.
As a matter of course, It has not been in use, dropped, or damaged.
Since I think it might be happen caused by initial failure of the goods, would you accept replacement of the goods?
If it's not acceptable for you, I would resell it as an imperfect products.
However, since it's not obvious about who's responsible for this matter, will you be able to reduce a price for me?
