Howdy - This is a late 1968, or early 1969 Gibson J-45 acoustic guitar. It is somewhat unusual in that the headstock is inlayed with a Mother of Pearl Gibson logo versus the usual decal type of logo. This is another of those California guitars played by "famous" folks. I don't know if this was custom ordered, or it just came that way, but the MOP is definitely factory for that era. The string pins may or may not be factory, but as I said, it came from an old rock and rollers Palm Springs stash.
The guitar is free of any cracks, or wood repairs and sounds absolutely amazing when "woke-up". It comes with the hard shell blue fuzzy lined case. Thanks for looking. Can you believe that Charlie Sheen just kept mouthing off against the writers? If he had just been quiet and stayed in his cocoon for a few days, all those folks working on that show would still have a job. Look at my other stuff from L.A. and Nashville.
