昨年10月にアメリカで発表された論文で、タバコの煙に含まれる発がん物質が､遺伝子細胞に影響を与え、突然変異を促すことが科学的に､明確に証明された。自分の子供に､毎日、少しずつ毒を与え、不治の病にして、じわじわと殺した親がいたとしたら､世間は｢鬼｣｢悪魔｣と呼ぶだろう。わが子の前でタバコを吸うこととはそう言うことなのだ。私は家族を肺がんにしたくないので､我が家でタバコを吸って欲しくない。でも、なかなかお客さんに断れない。

An article published in the US in October 2012 said that it has been scientifically proven that a carcinogen which is contained in Tabaco smoke affects gene cell and prompts mutational change. People call parents "evil" if the parent kill their own child by giving a poison a little by little every day and cause them fatal disease. Smoking in front of your own child is just like that. I don't want anyone to smoke in my house because I do not wish my family to get lung cancer. However, it is hard to tell my guests not to smoke in my house.

A paper published in the US last October demonstrated scientifically that a carcinogen from tobacco smoke influences genes and cells, and triggers mutations. People would call parents "Monster" or "Devil" if the parents give their kids poisons every day little by little, which cause an incurable disease. This is what smoking in front of kids means. I don't want to make my family suffer from lung cancer, so I don't want anybody to smoke in my house. But it is very difficult to ask my guests not to smoke in my house.

If there were parents who would intoxicate their own chiledren day by day, little by little, causing them fatal diseases and killing them slowly, the public should call them "Demons" or "Devils". But this is what smoking a cigarette in front of their children means. I do not want my family suffer from lung cancer, so I do not want them to smoke at home. But it's not easy to decline the clients' request.
