制作目的
私は、身の回りにある環境や風景そのものに手を加え、制作しています。そのことによって、人体が血液を循環しているように、ある循環した体系として空間を作り出したいと思っています。それは単に整った体系でなく、病気や心の問題を抱えながら生きている人間が人間らしいように、不整脈で美しい風景として現実の世界とリンクした作品を出現させたいと思っています。

Purpose of my work:
I am making my articles apparently introducing and modifying my surrounding environments. In this way, I want to create a kind of circulating spaces like the one where blood circulatres inside our bodies. It would not simply be a complete system; I want to make an article of mine that would shows the linkage of the real world with a harsh and distorted but beautiful outside world, for those who are living their own lives despite diseases and spiritual problems of their own..

Objective of production

I modify and produce environment or the landscape sorounding us per se. By means of it, I'm going to create space as a circulating system, such that blood circulates through the body. I'm not aiming at just a aligned system, but a beautiful landscape with a irregular pulse which connects to the real world because I think people with illness or mental problems are more humane.

レジデンスの制作では、建築空間の要素ー例えば床や壁面を素材の要素の一つをピックアップしてメイン構成要素とし、それぞれの要素（床？天井？壁面？ガラス？）の表裏を貫く作品を展開する。例えば、「穴」というモチーフでは、穴の向こうは、排水口で,
地下空間や海へとつながるものかも知れない。あるいは穴から差し込む光が、内と外との関係を暗示したり、時間の変化を暗示するかもしれない。

During process of creating a residence construction, we usually pick up one of the elements in a construction space (e.g., one of the materials for floor, wall, ceiling, or glass) as the main composing element, and try to read between the line of its nature extensively. For example, a theme “hole” may suggest a drain on the opposite side of it, which hole may leads to the underground space or into the sea. Or a light coming in through the hole may show the relationship between “the in and the out of the world” or may indicate elapse of time.

そのように、表裏をつなぐストーリーを考慮しながら、レジデンスエリアで素材を集める。それは、単なる扉のように人の行き来するだけのものから、水を吸い込む排水口、あるいは飲料が詰まっていた空き缶、電波を光に変換するテレビ、空間を照らしだす電球などあらゆるものの表裏をつなぐストーリーを探っていきます。アクアリウムの透明な容器の中で、あらゆるものが建築要素の一つとながり絡まり合いながら、呼吸するような一体となる風景を作ります。

Considering the connection of the inside and the outside story, we choose materials in the residence areas. They are not only the gates through which people are going in and coming out, but there are a drains that eliminates waste water, waste cans having some content still in it, TV's that create pictures via electric radiation, electric lights illuminating the vain space; we will make a story of all actual and vain aspects of THE THINGS as they are there. Our Acuarium will create, in its transparent body, a harmonized scenery in which all become the architectural elements interacting persistently with each other.

到達目標
昨年初めて国内ですがレジデンスに参加し,制作を改めて問い直す事ができました。今回国外の初めてのレジデンスによって、普段の制作環境がさらに一変します。現場で、どんな素材があるのか？から始まり、空間認識の違いや建築や都市の様子の変化によって、意識していない制作の姿勢や世界観を探り出せるのでないかと期待します。

Target:

For the first time last year, I had a chance to join a domestic residence construction event; it was a nice experience for me to dig over my way of thinking about my architecture again. With my first experience for the residence construction event abroad this time, my feeling (usual working environment) will change remarkably. What materials can I be provided? Beginning from such primitive things, I am expecting what I can do; thinking of the difference in the appreciation about space, architectures, and different cities that I don’t know well, I am expecting to proceed to the unknown way of architecture, which is out of my imagination, and can have a view of an utterly different world view from my own.
