The largest spiders live in the rain forests of South America and are known by the people who live there as "bird-eating spiders." These spiders can grow up to 28 centimeters long and, as their name shows, they have been known to eat small birds. On the other hand, the smallest species of spider in the world lives in Western Samoa.

Spiders actually provide benefits to us by catching and eating insects such as flies and mosquitoes. It is light, elastic, and strong; it is five times stronger than steel. The web will break up and finally return to nature as time passes, so it would be perfect for making such things as nets.

Robots are being used today to do tasks that are too dirty, dangerous, difficult, repetitive or dull for humans. Most them are industrial robots used in factories. Since the late 1950s, robots have been used for the jobs in factories that involve repeating the same action over and over again. People get tired or bored in such situations, but robots do not, and it's nothing for them to do the same thing thousands of times a day.

In the early 21st century, domestic robots also entered our everyday life with the success of the robotic pet dog released by a well-known company.
