It's signed "Sukesada" of which there were several in Bizen province in the period of time in question, that is late Momoyama to early Edo period.
From what I know so far, the blade was most likely forged around 1600. I'm not sure whether you'd consider it "really gorgeous" - I bet you have
seen a lot of better swords. But my last name isn't Rockefeller and for an affordable blade in this country I do believe it's somewhat above average.
I treasure it very much anyway.
As soon as I'll have the time to do so, I will get the sword over here and take a few pictures. And once it has arrived here, I could add some
more pictures with the tsuba included.
