Artist Introduction: Motonobu Kimihisa
He was born in 1944 in Fukushima Prefecture's Koriyama. He became a freelance illustrator after working as a graphic designer. He has drawn illustrations, picture books, art prints, and book designs. He has published many picture books before this one. In 1990, he won the Graphic Award from the Bologna Children's Book Fair for his book "Zebra + Rabbit = Zebrabit" (published by Kumon).
