その後、山田さんと何回か話した上で、次の合意をしています。
１．山田さんは、鈴木さんの件を田中さんに話をするが、それ以外は厳秘にする。
来週、トムから、ＮＥＣに正式に話をしてほしい。
２．山田さんは、ＮＥＣのメンバーには、鈴木さんに不満を持っている人もいるので、今回の件を好意的に受け止める人もいると思っている。
３．ＮＥＣの関心は、鈴木さんが辞めた後も、トライアルが問題なく進むかということである。
具体的には、鈴木さんが辞めた後の体制の強化と、後任の採用の２点を明確にすることである。
And we reached the following agreements after talking with (Mr.) Yamada a few times:
1. While (Mr.)Yamada will reveal the matter of Suzuki to Tanaka, other matters remain confidential.
We expect Tom to inform NEC officially next week.
２．Yamada feels that some people in the team will view this case positively as there are some NEC members who are dissatisfied with Suzuki.
３．The greatest interest of NEC is that whether the trial will proceed smoothly after Suzuki quits.
Concretely, two points must be clear regarding the enhancement in the system after Suzuki quits and who to succeed him.
４．来週、トムさんが来日した際に、ＮＥＣの誰に対して説明するかについては、明日、山田さんと私が決定したうえで、私からあなた方に連絡します。（もちろん、私はそのミーティングに参加します。）
なお、残念ながら、私からの依頼で出来る限りスケジュールを早めてもらいましたが、山田さんは６月３日（金）まで日本にはいません。その間は、田中さんが対応してくれることになっています。
今回の事件をきちんと説明し、むしろこのプロジェクトを更に良い方向に進めて行きたいと思います。
4.When Tom comes to Japan next week, I will let you know tomorrow regarding whom in NEC we will explain after Yamada and I will consult each other (Of course I will be in the meeting.)
Unfortunately, Yamada is not in Japan until Friday, June 3 though I have asked him to quicken his schedule. In the meantime, Tanaka will handle the case.
I hope that we will explain this case thoroughly and get the project on the right track.
