青山通りから原宿の明治神宮までのわずか1キロの短い区間ではあるが、ここに時代の最先端のファッション、カルチャー、アートが集積しています。

表参道ヒルズ
同潤会青山アパートの跡地に建てられたショッピング施設。オシャレなショップやレストランが集まっている。

新橋演舞場
京都の「都をどり」に倣ってはじめた「東をどり」の舞台としてオープンした劇場。スーパー歌舞伎が代表的な演目の一つ。

丸ビル
東京駅前にある複合施設。約140もの店舗が揃う。建築的には旧丸ビルの外観を低層部に模している。

京阪神のMICE広域連携へ第一歩

６月25日、国土交通省の近畿運輸局（大阪市）で、「関西エリアのMICE誘致促進に向けた情報・意見交換会」が開催された。大阪観光局、神戸国際コンベンション協会、京都文化交流コンベンションビューローの誘致担当者のほか、運輸局や観光庁、新関西国際空港の関係者も参加し、大阪、神戸、京都のMICE誘致の連携についての初会合が行なわれた。

同会は連携・協力によってさらなるMICE誘致につなげることを目的に、広域観光を手がける近畿運輸局の働きかけで実現した。
