Those shipping costs represents the approximate loss of value for cracked scales without additional purchase. They can never be repaired without a noticeable seam and attendant loss of collect-ability/value- And as these wedge Dorko's are currently being dumped by Japanese collectors the prices are coming down fast.

These scales may have already been repaired as you described as I now see a hairline crack on a closer view below the "Dorko" emblem, which also apparently was re-glued to a different position.

One of the scales (item #479?) on the emblem side at the base/spacer pin is cracked through and I would appreciate an adjustment as these Dorko scales are valuable by themselves and difficult to replace so the value of the razor declines accordingly. Of course if you have an extra set of Dorko scales in good condition for replacement that would work as well.

hi , i have a nice collection of old puma straightrazors (all shaved ready) but they start to loose smoothnes .
my razor have between 40 to 100 years old , all mint condition and i dont want to use the wrong stone on them !!!

In the morning of New Year's Day, my new year started eating ozoni* with my family.
