I would have placed the order for the pens but honestly the pen samples i saw had some sprinkling of powder which got stuck on the base urushi applied to the tracking, so i want to make sure people admire it only and not find faults. I will take the turtle and crane pen if you recommend it, but i ahve to see a sample befoe anything else. I understnd writing will soct extra but i think i can get the japan message written india fr a lit less they may not be the japan colours or pigments but yes you can always guide me. I had asked you for $100 with box, i will of course pay shipping extra. i have other pens coming to india fr sampling for as low as $75 but i liked your presentation on ebay so i wrote to you also.

There are only two versions of the RBZ heads: Version S and P. The P version is the smaller head for tour like the RBZ Tour that Taylormade sales at retail. The version S heads are the tour issue version of the bigger heads like the non-tour ones that they have at retail.

I am sold out of the P heads right now and will have more in about 3-4 weeks.

In the 15* version S heads, I only have one left. I will probably get more and can order some in if you would like to take 5 of those. I can do $375 each including shipping if you purchase multiple.

Differences in moisture regain of fibers, however,may result in different warm cool feelings
as increasing moisture regain increases thermal conductivity.The relationship between qmax and relative humidity of 55%, 65%, 75%, 85%, and 95% is shown in Fig.5. As indicated in Fig.5, the more RH, the better the cool feeling, while the more RH, the worse the warm feeling.Fig.6-7 indicates the distribution between bulk bensity and TIV and qmax in order to suggest the effects on thermal insulation and qmax of knitted fabrics, respectively. It was shown that there was little correlation between bulk density and TIV, gmax, respectively.

As indicated in Fig.4, the TIV of knitted fabrics showed that the thicker the air space
between the hot plate and the materials, the better the TIV. Regardless of materials, an increase of about 150% was observed in the TIV of about 8mm of air space. And also, the TIV of knitted fabrics as relative humidity increased, but a lesse decrease was observed in the TIV of more than 65%RH. Particularly, cotton/synthetic blended fabrics ahowed a remarkable decrease as compared to pure cotton and wool fabrics.The warm cool sensation that results as the fabric contacts a skin surface is probably also related to the surface contour of the fabrics.

Eyeland is a Location Messaging App with 500,000 Users in Japan

Eyeland (www.eyeland.in) is an app that allows users to leave their comments and messages at a specific location, where other users can then read read and follow nearby news. The app describes itself as one that helps users discover what’s happening surrounding them.

アイランド（Eyeland）という、日本で50万ユーザーを持つ位置メッセージ・アプリ

アイランド（www.eyeland.in）とは、ユーザーが特定の場所にコメントやメッセージを残せるアプリである。、それらを他のユーザーが読み、続いて身近で起きているニュースを送る。このアプリを、アプリ側自体は、ユーザーが身辺の出来事を知る手助けをするものと称している。

The concept isn’t new though. Apps like Feecha and Harpoen perform the same function. But each app has a very different user experience and design. So which one is better? In design, I would say Harpoen. But can anyone thrive on this location-based messaging concept? I can’t really say that for sure. While it doesn’t really solve a major problem, it does have some usefulness to it, especially when you’re new to a place.

コンセプトは新しいものではないが。Feecha や Harpoen が同じ機能を果たしているのだから。だが、それぞれのアプリのユーザー経験、デザインはずいぶん違う。で、どれがより優れているのか？　デザインではHarpoenだろう。ところでだが、この手の位置情報にもとづくメッセージ交換コンセプトは、誰かの助けになっているのだろうか？　私には何とも言えないのだ。大きな問題を本当に解決してくれるわけではないとはいえ、ある種の便利さは確かにあるだろう、特にある場所にまだ来たばかりの人間の場合は。

Don’t get me wrong, Eyeland doesn’t look awful. It uses Google maps which helps users to identify street names and places easily. In contrast, Harpoen uses a sexy radar thing which I thought was very slick. Eyeland is developed by Oceans Inc from Japan and has introduced an English app (iTunes link) for Singapore and Southeast Asia markets.

誤解しないでほしいのだが、アイランドが見栄えが悪いわけではない。Googleマップを使っているので、ユーザーは通りの名前でも場所でも簡単に確認ができる。対照的に、Harpoen が人目を引くレーダー的なものを使っているのはとても如才ないとは思う。アイランドを開発したのは日本の Oceans Inc で、シンガポールと東南アジア市場向けの英語版のアプリも始めた（iTunes がリンク）。

Back in Japan Eyeland has about half a million users, which is promising. Assuming more than half of its users are active, we should see some interesting content tagged to locations. The key is getting the masses to create meaningful user generated content. Our mobile phones have way too many messaging and location-based discovery apps already, in my opinion. The idea is cool, but it still needs to serve a real need to earn a place on my iPhone. Perhaps I’m turning into a dinosaur that only uses Google, Twitter, and Facebook for almost everything…

But I do encourage you to give Eyeland a try, and see if it works for you. Let me know what you think once you’ve tried it.

日本に話を戻すと、アイランドにはおよそ50万人のユーザーがいる。これは末頼もしい。この半数以上が実動ユーザーだとすれば、位置情報に付随したある種の興味深いコンテンツが出てくるはずだ。手掛かりは大衆に有意なユーザー発のコンテンツを作らせることなのだ。現今のモバイルフォンにはすでに、私に言わせれば、いささか過剰なほどの位置情報によるディスカバリー・アプリがある。コンセプトはクールでも、私のiPhoneに入るためには実際に何かの用を果たす必要があるのだ。もしかしたら、私は、ほとんど何にでも、GoogleとTwitterとFacebookしか使えない恐竜になりつつあるのかもしれないが…

しかし、アイランドを一度試して、役に立つものかどうか確かめてみることはぜひともお勧めする。その上で意見を聞かせて欲しいのだ。

Australian accelerator, Pollenizer, expands to Singapore with new Hive. Looking to hire

Pollenizer, the Australian-based accelerator, is looking to set up a new Hive in Singapore with the aim of bridging Sydney and Singapore early stage technology ecosystems.

オーストラリアに拠点があるアクセラレータ、Pollenizerが、シンガポールに新たな「ハイブ」を設立の予定だ。目的はシドニーとシンガポールの初期段階にあるテクノロジーの諸生態系を繋ごうというもの。

Pollenizer is exploring ways to connect the tech ecosystem down under with Singapore via technology events, investor exchanges and pitching platforms. Currently, the Australian accelerator has a team of 25 digital evangelists based in Sydney and have created 35 companies over the past four years which has seen double digit million dollar returns. The Pollenizer team was in Singapore for Echelon 2012 and also interviewing possible candidates for their new operations in Singapore that they are in the midst of setting up.

While Tran seemed to be optimistic about the region, William Henley, founder of Tapetrix cautioned everyone to be realistic. William reasoned that each country in Southeast Asia has its own set of problem, culture and different infrastructures.

Key opportunities in the region

Johan, the SEA Head of Alliance for RIM says that he sees a commonality in terms of hunger and interest in developing on mobile platform across SEA. Entrepreneurs and founders in the region seemed to recognize the huge opportunity which the mobile space promise. However, to really tap into all the different market in SEA, one has to understand the different cultures in the various markets.
