Morris had recently relocated to his hometown of Salt Lake City, but in recent Tweets, had talked about moving back to Southern California. The guitarist for SLC vegan straight edge band xClearx, Morris had initially come to Orange County a decade ago to join Eighteen Visions, touring behind the Vanity album and staying in the band through both major label records.

in the "Metalcore" section, alongside former bandmate James Hart, with whom Morris lived when he first moved to Orange County in the early 2000s. "Everybody was all over the place because Ken [Floyd] and Keith [Barney] were both in Throwdown. I was in Bleeding Through for a summer," he recounted of those days. "Brandan [Schieppati] and I sat down and said, 'Dude, we've got to figure this out.' I said, 'I moved out here to be in 18V. I love Bleeding Through, but my priority is 18V.'"

Morris and Schieppati performed together in the Misfits tribute band Die Die My Darling, together with Floyd and this writer, Ryan Downey. More reactions from the people who knew and loved Morris as we get them.

Mark Hoppus, in his latest Reddit AMA session, has reveled the original concept for Blink-182's "Josie" music video.

The Reddit question he responded to stemmed from an alternate version of the video, which was directed by Jason Matzner and featured the band performing in flooding basement. A clip of this video, which you can watch below, surfaced online in 2011.

最近のReddit AMAのセッションで、Mark HoppusはBlink-182の「Josie」のミュージックビデオのオリジナルコンセプトを公表した。

Redditはこのビデオの別ヴァージョンに由来する質問に答えた、ビデオはJason Matznerが監督し、水に漬かった地下室で演奏するバンドが出演している。このビデオクリップは、以下で見ることができるが、２０１１年にオンラインで公表された。

"i had an idea for the josie video, that we would be the band playing on the deck of an old cruise liner as it sunk. we would play in real time as everything around us exploded in slow motion. gradually at first, building in intensity, reaching complete catastrpohe at the end. people running, sparks flying, superstructure collapsing. the ship floods, and the last shot of the video is the ship sinking into the dark waters as the song ends "everything's gonna be fine." the label listened and said "cool, but no. that video will cost millions of dollars."

AP #300 cover star and co-designer Gerard Way was approved to write a limited Batman series under DC's Vertigo imprint roughly five years ago, he has revealed via tweets.

"They wanna put it out I just never have time to write it!" he told Mindless Self Indulgence frontman Jimmy Urine earlier this evening.

The former My Chemical Romance frontman revealed several of his concept sketches from the series, which include twisted spins on Batman, Mr. Freeze and the Joker, which you can view below.

The Batman series, which Way pitched to DC Comics in 2008, prior to the recording of both Conventional Weapons and Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys, was set to feature six issues.
