Esa figura, como veíamos, aparece con cierta frecuencia en los grabados ukiyoe. Precisamente uno de ellos inspiró a mi amigo Tei a la hora de esculpir la pequeña tablilla que os muestro a continuación: Tei es mi compañero en las clases de guitarra del Yamaha Center, aquí en Kobe. Desde hace algún tiempo él asiste a un taller de construcción de guitarras donde aprende el hermoso oficio del luthier. Ya he tenido la oportunidad de comprobar la habilidad de las manos de Tei, sin ir más lejos la guitarra eléctrica con la que acude a nuestras clases es una de sus obras. Su última creación, de la que hoy os quiero hablar, ha salido precisamente de aquella tablilla que en su momento tallara. Nos la presentó el pasado domingo cuando estuvimos en el “happyoukai” del Yamaha Center. Original Text Randolph Frederick "Randy" Pausch[3] (October 23, 1960 – July 25, 2008) was an American professor of computer science and human-computer interaction and design at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Pausch learned that he had pancreatic cancer, a terminal illness, in September of 2006. He gave an upbeat and adage-laden lecture entitled "The Last Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams" on September 18, 2007 at Carnegie Mellon, which became a popular YouTube video and led to other media appearances. He then co-authored a book called The Last Lecture on the same theme, which became a New York Times best-seller. Pausch died of complications from pancreatic cancer on July 25, 2008. Randolph Frederick "Randy" Pausch[3] (October 23, 1960 – July 25, 2008) was an American professor of computer science and human-computer interaction and design at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Pausch learned that he had pancreatic cancer, a terminal illness, in September of 2006. He gave an upbeat and adage-laden lecture entitled "The Last Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams" on September 18, 2007 at Carnegie Mellon, which became a popular YouTube video and led to other media appearances. He then co-authored a book called The Last Lecture on the same theme, which became a New York Times best-seller. Pausch died of complications from pancreatic cancer on July 25, 2008.
