既に大量生産・大量消費という従来のシステムを否定できないところで暮らしてしまっているからこそ、全否定するんじゃなくて、その上に多品種少量生産のインフラを上書きして塗り替え、アップデートするようなイメージを持っていきたいんです。
個人的には100〜1,000くらいの”やや”中量生産くらいで、欲しい人同士が共同購入をしてつくり手を支えたり、そんな大量と少量のあいだのロットでものをつくる仕組みをととのえる必要があるのかなとも。

As we live in a society of mass production and mass consumption I have no intention of negating the entire system and calling for its revamp. Instead what I am asking for is to outfit the existing system with another one in which a large variety of products can be produced at low volume. It would be like "repainting", or updating, the existing system.
I am thinking of a system where production lot sizes are between 100 and 1000, and where buyers and sellers interactive purchase from each other. In other words, i am feeling the need for a layer between small and large scale production.
