②　第9回となる今回は、改修工事による休館の影響で開催を一年延期したため、特例措置として対象年齢の上限を一年引き上げました。2005年以来3年，ぶりの開催となりましたが、過去最多となる884人から1,282点の応募があり、一次審査では156人170点が通過しました。二次審査でさらに厳選された結果47人49点が入選を果たし、その中から大賞1 点、優秀賞2点、奨励賞5点が選ばれています。これらの作品はどれも意欲にあふれ、若きアーティストたちの今後の飛躍を期待させるものばかりです。

2. The maximum age limit has been extended for 1 year as a special measure for this 9th time, as a special measure for having postponed this exhibition due to the closing of the museum during its renovation. This is the first time it is held in 3 years since 2005, but there have been 1,282 entries from 884 people, the highest number so far, and 170 pieces from 156 people passed the first selection process. After going through a further meticulous second selection, 49 artworks from 47 people were chosen, among which 1 won the Grand Prize, 2 won an Award of Excellence, and 5 won an Honorable Award. Each and every artwork is filled with inspiration, and we can expect a lot from the future of all those young artists.
