シングルカッタウェイの薄胴ボディ、ブレイシング設計など、ＡＥＧとしてのサウンドキャラクターを追求したオリジナル・デザインを随所に採用。新開発A.R.T.ピックアップ&プリアンプ[SYSTEM-64 (バッテリーは単3乾電池2本)]を搭載し、ピエゾピックアップ特有の”クセ”のあるキャラクターを極限まで押さえ、コンデンサーマイクタイプのハウリングの問題を解消。よりリアルで高品位なトーンを出力。

"APX," is basic as the model that is thin and is easy to hold, and replacing the electric guitar is smooth.
They adopted the original design everywhere like the thin body of the single cutaway and the bracing body in pursuit of the sound character as AEG. Equipped with the new development A.R.T. pickup & pre-amp [SYSTEM-64 (carrying two size AA batteries)], it suppressed the character with the "habit" peculiar to the piezopickup to the maximum and canceled the problem of the howling of the condenser microphone type. It outputs more real and high-grade tone.
