連絡が遅くなりましてすみません。
先日の送金はエラーになってしまったようです。
すぐにでも再送金したいのですが、現在、日本は連休に入ってしまっているため、今週末、もしくは来週頭の送金になってしまいます。
再送金が完了次第、改めてご連絡します。
サンプルの検証は、最近出張続きでまだできていません。

Here's one place I feel I could provide some further insight:
"It seems that the money I sent the other day failed." → "It seems that the money I sent the other day failed."
What failed was not the money itself, but the sending of the money. So restructuring your sentence in this way would better convey the meaning of the original text. You could also consider using the word "remittance", meaning money sent overseas via mail. Seems like it would work well in this context :)
