どうなんでしょう。学校ではAsをよく教えられましたが、最近は理由を表す意味では使わなくなりました。まだSinceの方が使われている気がします。ビジネス文書も今では簡潔で口語調に近いアメリカ式がもてはやされていますし、スタイルの違いと言ってしまえばそれまでですが。
