It's still cold in Japan, but it's almost spring. It's the season of the sakura - Japanese cherry blossoms.
Speaking of sakura, the so-called "sakura mochi" are really popular in Japan. They are made from red bean paste wrapped in mochi and sakura leaves.
The wonderful smell of sakura leaves tickles your senses, and the delicate sweetness of red beans spreads in your mouth.
If you eat them together with green tea, you will surely feel the fresh breath of Japanese spring.
