The script is already written and this short is a very condensed version of what the film has to offer. It is a enhanced version of the opening scene of the movie. The short showcases the rules of the ghost, the process of when you get a visit from her, and how she reminds you on how much time you have left. She shows you a bunch of visions and gives you 3 days to solve the mystery hiding within them.
In the actual film the lead is actively having to solve the mystery to find the clues within the visions, and puzzle the clues together, to find real-life people and locations that correspond and act like a detective talk to people and unravel the mystery.
