日米の文化交流を目的にした施設「インターナショナルラーニングセンター」が、岩国市門前町にオープンした。運営する米国人のジャッキー・アレンさん(44)＝同市黒磯町＝は「日米の素晴らしい文化を教え合い、両国の懸け橋となる場に」と願う。
国道１８８号沿いで、門前橋南詰から約２００メートル。元動物病院だった鉄筋２階建てを改装した。１階はダイニングキッチンとレッスン室、２階はパーティーなども開ける約１００平方メートルの多目的ルームを備えている。

International Learning Center whose purpose is cultural communication between Japan and the US was opened in Monzencho, Iwakuni-city. American owner Jacky Allen who is 44 years old and lives in the Kuroiso-cho, Iwakura-city hopes that he wants the institution to be the place where people tell their wonderful cultures with each other and to be the bridge for both countries.

The facility was renovated the two-storied reinforced concrete building used as a Animal Hospital, standing on the route 188, 200km away from the Monzenmachi South end. Groud floor will have a Lesson Room and the Dinning & Kitchen space, and the second floor is going to be 100 square meters multipurpose room where can hold a party.
