日米の文化交流を目的にした施設「インターナショナルラーニングセンター」が、岩国市門前町にオープンした。運営する米国人のジャッキー・アレンさん(44)＝同市黒磯町＝は「日米の素晴らしい文化を教え合い、両国の懸け橋となる場に」と願う。
国道１８８号沿いで、門前橋南詰から約２００メートル。元動物病院だった鉄筋２階建てを改装した。１階はダイニングキッチンとレッスン室、２階はパーティーなども開ける約１００平方メートルの多目的ルームを備えている。

"The International Learning Center" was opened in Monzenmachi Iwakuni City, to activate Japan /United States cultual exchange, conducted by US national Mrs. Jackie Allen (44years old) living in Kuroisomachi, Iwakuni City. " Wishing to be a bridge over the both Countries and exchange and teach wonderful cultures of both Japan/US" said Mrs.Jackie Allen.

The facility was renovated the two-storied reinforced concrete building used as a Animal Hospital, standing on the route 188, 200km away from the Monzenmachi South end. Groud floor will have a Lesson Room and the Dinning & Kitchen space, and the second floor is going to be 100 square meters multipurpose room where can hold a party.
