Since 1994 many companies have tried to copy Shift-It products, in general they have taken products manufactured for the car industry and tried to adapt them to the motorcycle trade where there is a huge difference in the types of plastics and polymers used. At Shift-It we do not manufacture any products for anyone other than in the motorcycle trade. We are constantly working with both raw material suppliers and RAPRA (Europes leading independent plastic & rubber consultants) to ensure that all Shift-It products are suitable and safe for their intended use.
1994年以降、Shift-It商品を模倣する会社は多々あり、使用されているプラスチックとポリマーの種類に大きな違いがあるにもかかわらず、自動車業界用の商品をモーターサイクル流用したりした。Shift-Itではモーターサイクル関連以外の商品は製造していない。継続的に原材料仕入元やRAPRA(欧州で著名なプラスチックとゴムの独立コンサルティング会社）と協力して全てのShift-It製品が用途に対して適切で安全であることを保証している。
