先日、ある方の表具の展覧会に足を運んだが撮影禁止だった。
著名人になればなるほど、そうなのかもしれない。
だけど、私は著名人であればあるほど、世の中にその作品を発信してほしいと願ってやみません。
作品をまねされたら嫌だとか、自分の作品を軽々しく公表したくないだとか思惑はそれぞれあるかもしれないが、より多くの人に作品を見てもらう事によってその業界全体が盛り上がる。
表具業界がもりあがる。
たくさんの人に見てもらうと多々弊害があるかもしれない。

I went to a paperhanger's exhibition the other day, but taking photo was not allowed.
Probably that's the way things work if more famous the exhibitor is.
However, I cannot help but to wish that more famous the creator is, more widely the works are introduced.
The may not want others to copy their works or probably they don't want to disclose their works casually, but letting more people see their works will encourage the entire industry.
Paperhanging industry will be excited.
Disclosing to many people may have adverse effect.

誹謗中傷されるとか、世の中にはいろんな人がいるから。
作者曰く、作品をわかってもらえる人だけにわかってもらえればいい。
顧客を大事にする配慮であるし、
嘆いていても仕方ない。
限られた情報の中で、最大限の努力をしないといけない。
そうだ、私が著名人になって作品をドンドン公開して表具業界全体を盛り上げてしまえばいい。
なんか発想が図々しいな。
しかし、私ができて思いつくアイデアが他にない。
はじめなければ、はじまらない。
歴史を重んじながら、歴史を覆していく。
