私の友達もみんな同時に少しずつ大人になっているから、自分の成長を実感することはほとんどない。しかし彼と会って、私の容姿の変化に驚いた。あの空間があまりにも変わっていないから、自分が経てきた時間の長さが感じられた。そして彼が何も変わっていないことは私にとってむしろ安心でもあった。私の姿だけは変わったが、そこで目を閉じてヒロキと会話すれば昔と何一つ変わらない状況がそこにあった。
Since all my friends are gradually growing together it's hard to be aware of my own growth. However, I was surprised by the change of my appearance when I met him. I felt the length of the time I spent as that space hadn't changed in a slightest bit. Seeing him without any change made me rather relieved. Even though how I look may have changed, talking to Hiroki with my eyes closed made me feel that nothing had changed since our old times.
