彼は成人式であった時とほとんどなにも変わらない姿だった。目が悪くなったみたいでメガネをかけていた。彼の家に入った瞬間中学の頃となにも変わっていないと悟った。玄関と廊下、階段もとても綺麗まままだ。あまり人けのない家は、新築時代とほとんど変わらない匂いで、彼の部屋の扉に付いている厚紙で作った空室を知らせるプレートも当時と同じものだ。部屋に入っても予想以上になにも変化がない。彼がすきな漫画やCDなどの配置が当時全く変わらず、まるで5.6年タイツスリップした様な状況だった。

He looked almost the same since we last met at the coming-of-age ceremony. It looked like his eyesight got weak and he was wearing glasses. In the minute I stepped into his house, I realized nothing had changed since we were in junior high. Entrance and corridor, steps are still neat. Little disolated house smelled almost like when it was new, the plate made of cardboard to notify vacancy is still hanging at the door of his room. More than expected, nothing has changed in the room. His favorite comics and CDs were exactly placed in the same order, I felt as if we time slipped to 5-6 years ago.

When he was coming of age, he almost did not change at all. Though his eyes seemed to be getting bad, so had worn eye glasses. I realised that nothing changed even at the moment when I entered his house when we were still in juniour high school,. The entrance way, the corridor and even the stairs are all still neat. This house, which has been empty for a while, has a smell that has not changed since the time it was constructed. The plate made out of cardboard that hangs on his door which also lets you know it's his, is still the same as it was before. Even entering the room, more than expected, nothing has changed. The arrangement of his favourite Manga (comics), CDs, etc. did not change at all. The condition is as if they were still wrapped in tight slips for about 5 to 6 years.
