Today I had an interview with Human Resources.
They asked me if I had some department in mind.
And they brought up my TOEIC score.
"Would you be interested in moving to a department when you can use English?" they asked me.
Of course, I said yes (in Japanese) right away.
"There are some people who are studying English at the company's expense," they said.
I am only taking a correspondence course!
This was the first time English was mentioned in relation to my job.
As of now, TOEIC is the only indicator of my English skills.
This probably means that I have to keep studying.

Today I had a meeting with the human resource department about my career.

I talked with them about my desired department in near future. And I was asked my TOEIC scores during conversation.

"There are some departments in which English is required. Do you want to transfer there?" they said.

Needless to say, I gave a prompt reply by saying "Yes!" in Japanese.
They said to me "Some people are studying English, being paid for by the company"
I am studying only with remote education, though!!!

I was asked by my Enligsh for the first time ever,
although I have done nothing but getting TOEIC score.

Well, I understood that these happening suggested me to study English from now on.
