美少女戦士セーラームーン・ブラックレディのコスプレ

セーラームーン原作2部やアニメに登場する、ブラックレディ。
変身前のちびうさとは打ってかわり、妖艶かつオトナの雰囲気が魅力の敵キャラです。
今回は、そんなブラックレディのコスプレをしている、YC.カノンさんにインタビューを
させていただきました。

－まずはYC.カノンさんご自身ことについて教えてください。
はじめまして！YC.カノンと申します。

Black Lady who appears in the second part of original Sailor Moon and animation.
Unlike Chibi Usa before transformation, Black Lady is a mature character with sensual charm.
This time around, I would like to interview Ms. YC Canon who cosplays as Black Lady.

次回作る時は、もう少し改善の余地がありそうだな～と思っています。

－ブラックレディをされた時のエピソードはありますか？
ほとんどのコスプレイヤーさんは流行りの作品の衣装を着ているので、
イベントで着るのは少し抵抗があった…というのが正直な気持ちです。
また、大胆にアレンジを加えていたので、原作ファンの方から批判される
だろうな、とも思っていました。
でも、そんな心配は会場についたら吹き飛んでしまいました！
I think that there is a room for slight improvement next time when I am making it.

- Is there an episode of a time when you were in Black Lady costume?
To be honest with you, there was a little resistance to wear it in the event as most cosplayers are wearing popular costumes.
Also, I added my original taste in my costume, so I thought that I will be criticized by fans of original work.
But such concerns were completely gone once I arrive at the event!
約8年程前にコスプレというものに出会い、姉のYC.優と二人で地元福島と東京のイベントで活動をしています。
－取材をさせて頂く前に、お姉さんと一緒に映っているお写真もいくつか拝見させて頂いたのですが、どれも原作を生かした世界観が素敵で。
どうしたらそんな表現ができるのでしょうか？
普段から、様々な作品・アーティストから影響を受けています。
I have encountered cosplay about 8 years ago, and am participating in events in Tokyo and Fukushima, my home-town, with my sister YC. Yu.
- I have seen several pictures of you and your sister before the interview. There were all fabulous with the vision faithful to the original piece.
How can you make such a depiction?
I am often influenced by various pieces and artists.
今回のブラックレディであれば、原作はもちろんのこと、アーティストの
ALI PROJECTさん、シルクドゥソレイユのサーカス衣装などにも
インスピレーションを受けました。
－なんと！アニメやコミックだけの影響ではないんですね！
そうですね。キャラクターをコスプレに起こすという作品作りを通じて、
普段感じた感動を昇華できたら、と思っています。
－なるほど。今回のブラックレディもカノンさんならではの
アレンジが加えられていますね！
For the Black Lady, I got the influence by the original work of course, the artist ALI PROJECT, and the circus costume of Cirque du Soleil circus.
- Wow! It's not only from Anime and Comics!
That's right. I always hope to turn what I feel everyday into reality, through creating cosplay costumres out of the Anime/Comic characters.
- I see. You made your own arrangement into The Black Lady this time.
武内直子先生の原作そのままでも十分素敵だったのですが、
作品やキャラクターを知らない人にも楽しんで頂きたかったので、
思い切ってゴージャスな衣装にアレンジしました。
実は幼い頃、実写版のセーラームンを見たことがあったんですが、あまりにも
イメージと違ったことがショックでトラウマになってしまったんです。
人間が演じていることも前提の上で、全然違うよ!!!って。苦笑
－子供は、作り手の都合まで考えないですもんね。笑
It was already fabulous the way Naoko Takeuchi has designed in the original piece, but as I wanted people who don’t know the piece or the character to enjoy as well, I took my courage and arranged the costume to a gorgeous one.
As a matter of fact, I was shocked and traumatized watching the live-action version of Sailor Moon when I was a kid, as it was far different from my image.
I was aware that it is acted by human being, but couldn’t help saying “It’s far so different!!!” lol
- Children can’t understand producers’ circumstances. lol
子供の見る目はとてもシビアで、間違いがないと思っているので、
実写版を見て傷ついた、幼い頃の自分からもクレームがこないように…
という想いもありました。
【●ブラックレディの特徴的な髪型を再現！】
－制作期間はどのくらいかかっていますか？
おおよそ2週間程度です。
今回のブラックレディの場合は、準備期間がほとんどでしたね。
実際に手を動かしたのは3日くらいでした。
理想の布を探して何件もお店を渡り歩いたりしましたが、福島は東京ほど
素材が揃っていないので、ネット通販で購入したものも多いです。
I think eyes of children are very keen and honest, so I did not want to betray myself in childhood who was hurt by seeing live-action version of characters.

- How long does it take to reproduce?
Approximately two weeks.
For this Black Lady, mostly spent on preparation.
Actual time on creating it was about three days.
I wandered around looking for a fabric that I want. But I actually bought quite a lot of material from internet since there isn't a variety in Fukushima unlike Tokyo.
－いつもご自身で制作されているんですか？
今では山のようにコスプレ衣装販売店ができましたが、
自分が始めたばかりの頃はそういった販売店がまだなくて。
なので全部手作りだったり、既製品を改造したりしていました。
－キャラクターの衣装を、実際着れるものにするのは難しそうですね…
もともとは『絵』なので、それをそのまま人間が着ると、あまりにダサかったり
違和感が拭えないことがほとんどです。(苦笑
もちろんそのままでも大丈夫なキャラクターもいます。
- Are you making it on your own every time?
Nowadays, there are many costume shops for cosplaying, but there wasn't any when I started.
That's why I was either hand-making my own costumes or modifying ready-made costumes.
- It seems very difficult to make costumes of characters that you can actually wear...
Since they are all "drawings" originally, so it is true that costumes look lame or clunky when people wear them. Most of the time, they look odd. (bitter smile)
Of course, there are some characters that their costumes look good as they are.
でも大抵の場合は、現実にあってもおかしくないような衣装にするために、
アレンジを加えていますね。
－具体的にはどんな風にアレンジしていくのでしょうか？
私の場合、まずデザイナーのように絵を描きます。
全体の色合いや素材、バランスなどをこの時点で正確に決定しておくと、
その後の準備がとても楽になります。
イメージを固めるこの作業が、一番楽しくて大好きです。
－ブラックレディならではの工夫はありましたか？
In most cases, we make some arrangements to make costume look okay.
- So what kind of arrangements do you actually make to the costumes?
In my case, I draw a picture of costumes first like a designer.
Deciding on colors, materials, and balance of the whole costume makes the preparation much easier.
I like this part of work the most, creating the image.
- Was there any particular uniqueness for Black Lady costume?
キャラクターの雰囲気から、メイクをいつもより濃くしようと思い、
ギャル用の化粧本を読んで研究しました。
普通の化粧品では発色が悪かったので、舞台用のメイク用品も使っています。
あとはやはり、この髪型でしょうか。
－巨大なお団子2つという、かなり特徴的な髪型ですよね。
一番アクセントを持たせたかったこだわりのポイントです！
ですが、この不思議な形のお団子の作り方なんてどこにも載っていないかったので、
自分で編み出すしか方法がありませんでした。
I tried to put on heavy make-up to match the image of the character.
I read and studied how to make-up from girl's make up magazines.
Colors were pale using regular cosmetics, so I am also using cosmetics for stage.
And after all, it is this hair style.
- It is a very unique and distinctive hairstyle with two big buns.
That is where I wanted to emphasize the most!
But of course, since I can't find how-to-make funny shaped buns instruction anywhere, I had to make them all on my own.
頭のお団子部分は紙粘土で土台部分を作り、ウィッグの毛束を接着剤で
張り付けています。お団子が完成したら細めの針金でウィッグ本体に固定。
結合部分が不自然だったので、造花でデコレーションして隠しました。
－この努力があって、この非現実的な髪型を再現しているんですね！
作るだけでなく、つけているときも苦労しました…。
ただでさえ長いバンスを二本もつけているので頭が重くて仕方なく、
しかも中に仕組んだ針金が頭皮にブスブス刺さって、正直痛かったです。笑
The base of the buns are made from paper clay, and a bundle of hair from wig is glued to paper clay. Once buns are done, they are mounted and fixed on the head part of the wig with thin wires. The joint part of the wig and buns looked unnatural, so I hid the part by decorating with artificial flowers.
- So that is how you imitate this unrealistic hairstyle with all your effort!
Not only when I was making it, but I had hard time even when I was wearing it.
Two huge buns on my head were already very heavy enough, and on top of that, the wires inside stuck in my head, it was actually painful. (Lol)
