軽量Evernoteクライアント、SmartEverの「Evernote Trunk Conference開催記念セール」実施について
先日はEvernote開発者コンテスト「Devcup」にてSmartEverを応援頂き本当にありがとうございました。
今回は残念ながら決勝に進むことはできず、また日本からの応募者に与えられるJapan Prizeにも選ばれることができませんでした。

About "Evernote Trunk Conference Commemoration Sale" held by SmartEver, a lightweight Evernote client
Thank you very much for encourage SmartEver at "Devcup" , a Evernote developer's contest, the other day.
Unfortunately, we couldn't advance to the finals or win Japan Prize which are given to the applicants from Japan.

SmartEverの実用性には自分なりに自信があったので、ひょっとして決勝に行けるのではと淡い期待をしていたのですが、新規性やアイデア面で他の作品には及ばなかったのかなと、そんなことを考えている今日この頃です。
もしファイナリストに選ばれるか、Japan Prizeを受賞すれば、今週末にSFで行われるEvernote Trunk Conferenceに招待されるという特典があったので、これは海外でアプリの宣伝をする良い機会と考えていたのですが、その夢は儚く散ってしまいました。

As I had some confidence for practicability of the SmartEver so I expected slightly that it should be in the finals but now I am wondering other works are superior than it in the novelty or idea.
If I had been choosen as finalist or received Japan Prize, I could received the prize of inviding to Evernote Trunk Conference which will be held in SF in thie weekend and I though it should be good opportunity to advertise this application in overseas but that dream disappeared sadly.

My thoughts on this occasion are that I have faith in the usability of SmartEver so I thought there was a faint hope that it would go onto the finals. However, I think perhaps it doesn't compare with other applications in terms of ideas and novelty.
If SmartEver had been picked as a finalist, or had received the Japan Prize, we would have been invited to the Evernote Trunk Conference to be held this weekend in San Francisco. I had thought that would be a good chance to promote EverNote overseas, however my hopes have been shattered.

というわけで、ETCの開催に合わせてSmartEverのセールをすることで、海外のEvernoteユーザーへのアピールをしてみることにしました。
セール期間は8/18〜8/26、価格は$2.99から$0.99への値下げになります。
日本では多くのブロガーさんがSmartEverを取り上げてくださり、かなり知名度も上がってきておりますが、海外ではまだ全然知られていないという状況です。ぜひこの機会にSmartEverを日本以外の方にも使ってもらえればと考えています。

In Japan, the name value has been consolidated as many bloggers introduced our SmartEver but it is not known at all overseas. So it would be great if people overseas could use SmartEver in this chance.

SmartEverは現在Ver1.1.1にアップデートを行い、Devcup応募時点から起動時間の高速化、ノートブックの並び順の修正やスタックへの対応、幾つかのバグ修正が行われています。
SmartEverの定価は現在、$2.99なのですが、セール終了後は$1.99に変更することを検討中です。

SmartEver is updated to Ver1.1.1 now and some modification for speeding up of launch speed from when Devcup application, modifying the order of notebook, and corresponding with the stuck correcting bugs.
Although the price of SmartEver is now $2.99 but we are now considering to make it to $1.99 after the end of sales the event.

SmartEver is currently being updated to Version 1.1.1, the speed of Devcup starting up, corrections to the allignment of the notebook, support to stacking and some corrections to bugs are being made.
SmartEver's set price is currently $2.99, however after the sale has concluded some consideration is being given to lower the price to $1.99.
