夜空に浮かぶ星を眺めるのが好きな少年です。
彼はあの綺麗な夜空を自由に飛んでみたいといつも思っていました。
ある日おじいちゃんが、
毎日良い子にしていると流れ星への願いが叶うんだよと教えてくれました。
マイクはおじいちゃんを信じていました。
毎日お母さんの手伝いをしたり、
犬の世話をしてあげたり、
友達が困っていたら助けてあげたりして、
とても良い子にしていました。
ある夜、マイクがいつものように空を眺めていると、
流れ星が流れました！
マイクは急いでお願いします。
「空を自由に飛べますように・・・」
すると流れ星はキラッと輝き、
マイクのところまで飛んで来て、
目の前に止まったではありませんかっ。
マイクは星に乗って夜空を思う存分飛びまわりました。
近くで見る星達は本当に綺麗で、
空から見る街はまるで宝石箱のようでした。
フッと目が覚めると、
そこはマイクの部屋のベットで、
いつもと同じように朝を迎えていました。
マイクにはそれが夢だったのかどうか分かりませんでしたが、
いつもよりよても幸せな気分でした。

Mike believed in his grandfather.
He behaved himself everyday,
helping his mother,
taking care of the pet dog,
and helping out friends when they were in trouble.
One night, when Mike was looking up the sky as usual,
a shooting star fell!
Mike made a wish in hurry.
"Plese let me fly the sky..."
Then, the shooting star twinkled.
It came flying over to mike and stopped in front of Mike!
Mike flew all over the night sky, riding on the shooting start.
The stars were truely beautiful when he look at it close by,
and the town seemed like a treasure box from up high in the sky.
When he woke up,
he was in his bed inside his room,
and the morning came as usual.
Mike didn't know if that was a dream,
but he sure was feeling happy.

表現が難しくなりそうなところだけ簡単なものに直しました。
それから最後の「いつもよりよても幸せな気分でした。」ですが、
but he sure was feeling happy. -> but he sure felt happy than ever.
に変えてください！「いつもより」が抜けてました。
それから、「sure（確かに/もちろん）」は無くても良いです。
ちょっとオーバーにしてみただけですので。
もし残すのであれば、「surely」の方が表現的に子供向きかもとも思います。つまり；
but he felt happy than ever.
but he sure felt happy than ever.
but he surely felt happy than ever.
のいずれかですね。
あ、あと皆様の訳を見ていて気付いたのですが、「宝箱」じゃなくて「宝石箱」でしたね・・・。
この場合、「treasure box」じゃなくて「jewel box」です。すみません・・・。
