They are not celebrities but ordinary people. So what I can say is that all of them are dead and not present on the earth now. Seeing their pictures, however, I can imagine how they spent their lives.
As Richter pointed out in his “theory of Photography”, more and accurate information is available for a person from his/her snapshots taken by the family members without much intention than from his/her portrait. In this respect, these pictures give highly condensed and vivid information of the people in the past than their portraits.

As they are not just a famous one but an individual, what I only know exactly is that they are not already here, but I can imagine the story how lives they spent looking at the images.
As Richter said in "Gerhart Richter Texte: Schriften und Interviews," photographs snapped be random by families can get more correct information than portrait photo. From these aspects, these photographs provide information making us feel strongly somesthesis, more compressed than the portrait of the deceased.
