彼らは有名人ではなく、 一個人であるため、私が正確にわかるのは、彼らはすでにここにいないということだけですが、画像を見ながら物語を想像し、彼らがどのような人生を送ったか、を考えることができます。
リヒター "写真論" にもありますが、肖像写真よりも、家族のとった適当にとったスナップ写真の方が多くの正しい情報を得ることができる。そういった側面からも、これらの写真は故人のポートレートよりも、非常に圧縮された情報ながら、身体性を強く感じる情報でもあります。
They are not celebrities but ordinary people. So what I can say is that all of them are dead and not present on the earth now. Seeing their pictures, however, I can imagine how they spent their lives.
As Richter pointed out in his “theory of Photography”, more and accurate information is available for a person from his/her snapshots taken by the family members without much intention than from his/her portrait. In this respect, these pictures give highly condensed and vivid information of the people in the past than their portraits.
