Playmoolah is top startup for Innotribe Challenge in Singapore
Playmoolah, a startup that has developed a money management game for children that ties them to real life and real money, has won the “Top Startup” title at the Innotribe Challenge showcase held in Singapore on 24th April, Tuesday.
The company will now advance to the Innotribe Startup Challenge finals in Osaka, Japan in October 2012 where it will compete for the US$50,000 prize. The Challenge is part of Sibos, the annual conference of global financial organization SWIFT.
After winning the challenge, the founders were shuttled to the Innotribe Bangkok event held at the Asian Banker Summit this week.

実生活のお金に結びつけた子供向けのお金管理ゲームを開発したスタートアップ Playmoolah が4月24日（火）にシンガポールで行なわれた「Innotribe Challenge」で「トップ・スタートアップ」の座を獲得した。
今後、Playmoolah は2012年10月に大阪で行なわれる「Innotirbe Startup Challenge」の決勝ラウンドに臨み賞金5万米ドルを競う。このイベントは、国際的な金融組織の SWIFT の年次会議である Sibos の一環だ。
シンガポールでのイベントで優勝した後、Playmoolah の創設者らは今週「Asian Banker Summit」で行なわれた「Innotribe Bangkok」に参加した。
“We’re very humbled by the audiences’ overwhelming reaction, proving that now more than ever, people are starting to rethink the purpose of banks and the need for effective financial education across the world,” says Lee Min Xuan, co-founder of PlayMoolah.
“We hope to partner with many more schools, organisations and banks to bring fun financial education to more children and their families.”
Playmoolah is no stranger to the startup scene in Singapore. They won the Echelon 2011 Launchpad, a regional startup competition that saw six companies pitch to an audience of investors and entrepreneurs.
And just recently, on 18th April, they officially launched their game after months of beta testing.

「我々は、より多くの子供達と子供達の家族に楽しい財務教育を提供するため、さらに多くの学校、企業団体、そして銀行とパートナーシップ契約を締結したいと考えている。」
PlayMoolahは、シンガポールにおけるスタートアップの現場では決して珍しい存在ではない。彼らは、投資家や事業家の観衆に向けて6つの企業がピッチを行ったリージョナル・コンテストで、Echelon 2011 Launchpadを受賞している。
そしてつい先頃4月18日に、数ヶ月のベータ試験期間を経て、彼らはゲームを公式にリリースした。
