Develop a list of people who work for you. Contact the human resources department for some vital information such as birthdays and hire dates. If you don't have a human resources department, either you or your assistant can go to the people directly and get the information. Fill in on your calendar all the days you want to remember with these people.
Go to a card store, and buy a supply of cards that you can give at the appropriate times. If you have a supply of cards, you won't be caught unaware.
Check your calendar each week. Take a few minutes and fill out a card for everyone with a special day that week. You don't have to be overly sentimental, but be personal in the note.
