You might say the connection of the pump to "inlet side", we prefer the outlet side.
Because, for the backwashing, it is a flow from the outlet side to the inlet side, the difference in pressure is extremely high, if you increase the pressure from the inlet side, the pressure from the outlet side will not increase, and there might be a possibility to backflow.
We recommend to install booster pump for back washing line because there is better result.
And you request to connect pump for inlet side but we would like to recommend for outlet side.
Because back washing flow is from outlet side to inlet side, so if there is an extremely high pressure difference, it will be difficult to make flow of back washing to make high pressure for outlet side even if we increase pressure from inlet side.
We recommend using a booster pump in the backwash line, as it is more proven.
You mentioned that the pump should be connected to the inlet side, but we recommend the outlet side.
This is because backwash is a flow from the Outlet side to the Inlet side and if the differential pressure is extremely high, it is difficult to generate backwashing flow because The pressure in the Outlet side does not rise even if the pressure is increased from the Inlet side.
