そんな伝統の技術を受け継いだ、日本の100以上のタンナーの中から、有名なタンナーを一部ご紹介します。
・栃木レザー 株式会社
栃木県にある老舗タンナーです。
有害な物質を使う薬品類は一切使わずに、手間の掛かる「ベジタブルタンニンなめし」での加工にこだわりを持っており、日本で最もファンの多いタンナーです。

主として、椅子・靴・ランドセル用・自動車用等に使われる革を製造・販売しています。
