朝はお客さんの朝食の準備、片付けをした後、農園でパイナップルやマンゴー、他様々な野菜を育てていたので、それのお手伝いをした。それまでパイナップルが地面から生えている姿をみたことがなかったので、それを見るだけでも楽しかった。パイナップルの実が日に焼け過ぎないように新聞紙や布で一つ一つ実を包み、芯が育ちすぎて実に栄養がいかないように芯をくり貫いたり、パイナップルの葉がとがっている為足が傷だらけになったりとこれまで知らないことだらけだったので発見がたくさんあった。
Mornings, after preparing the guests' breakfast and fixing up, in the farm pineapples and mangoes and all sorts of vegetables are grown and so I help with that. Up until then, I have never seen pineapples grow from the ground so just seeing that was fun. Wrapping the pineapple's fruits one by one with newspaper or cloth so it wouldn't get burnt by the sun, piercing the core so that the core won't be nurtured too much and deprive the fruit of nutrients, and getting my feet cut constantly by the pointy pineapple leaves, were so many things I didn't know about until now so it was full of discoveries.
