You will experience the same work as the cup making artists.
You will not use the electric potter wheel at all. You will make it just how you like the shape with hand kneading and after an hour dry, sharpen it and adjust its weight by planing it off to make real Black hand molded earthenware teacup.
*The artists will fire it for finishing up after grazing later on.

We will have seasonal light ups of the colored leaves for four seasons in the tearoom.

Please enjoy the dinner time(Traditional Kyoto meal brought in courses) with fantastic garden view from tearoom after finishing the pottery making.

黒楽茶碗・手捏ね~削り仕上げ作陶体験。
楽焼職人がおこなう茶碗作りと同じ体験をしていただきます。
電気轆轤を一切使用せず、手捏ねにてお好みの形を作り、
約1時間の乾燥後、カンナで御自分の思いのままの形、重さに削り仕上げをし、
本物の黒楽茶碗をお作りいただきます。
※仕上げていただいた楽茶碗は、後日職人が釉を塗り、焼成いたします。

〈 茶室庭園ライトアップを見ながら夕食 〉
茶室の紅葉を、四季折々の期間限定でライトアップを行います。

作陶を終えた後のひと時を、茶室から幻想的な庭を眺めながら
夕食(京懐石)をお召し上がりいただきます。
