パシフィコ横浜は６月、国内ＭＩＣＥ施設で初めてとなる「展示会の利便性を高めるスマートフォン向けアプリ」の本格導入に向けた実証実験を行なった。
国際会議開催件数国内１位として多くの外国人参加者があるパシフィコ横浜は、利用満足度を高めるために、現在、館内の「無料高速無線ＬＡＮ（Ｗｉ-Ｆｉ）」エリアを拡充するなどデジタルネットワーク環境整備を進めている。それに併せて、「主催者」「出展者」「来場者」の施設利用を支援するため、今回のスマートフォン向けアプリの開発に着手した。

Pacifico Yokohama had a field test in June for to fully introduce "smartphone application to raise user friendliness of trade shows" which was the first event held in domestic MICE facility.
Pacifico Yokohama boasts the highest number of hosting international conferences in the country attracting many foreign participants, and in order to improve customer satisfaction they are currently working on digital network environment such as expanding "free high speed LAN (Wi-Fi) area inside the building. Along with that, they have started developing this smartphone application to support "organizer", "exhibitors" and "visitors" for using the facility.

In June, Pacifico Yokohama did a mock experiment leading to the first implementation of the"smartphone app that will make exhibition experiences more convenient" in a national MICE facility.
Pacifico Yokohama hosts the most international conferences in the country, and has a large number of foreign visitors.
