イベント5団体は、1月26日、東京・千代田区の学士会館で合同賀詞交歓会を開催した。
5団体を代表して登壇した日本イベント産業振興協会（JACE）会長・イベント学会理事長の成田純治氏は「5年後の東京五輪、忘れてはいけない東北復興、いま安倍内閣でも推進している地方創生というテーマ、あるいは観光分野では昨年訪日外国人旅行者数が1300万人を超えるなど、イベントがますます活発化していく。イベント業界を取り巻く皆がスクラムを組んで対応していこう」と力強く挨拶した。
