You sure this is a genue Iwasaki straight razor because every other Iwasaki I have seen yet had the Iwasaki stamping on the other side and also the grind is different from every other Iwasaki I know. I'm thinking about to maybe buy the other Daishi we have spoked about if I'm not sure that this is the real deal. Please be honest with me, I can't read japanese.

I can't wait to try this razor, all my other razors are hinged on scales (like a European straight razor) and this Japanese style looks so interesting. My friend is becoming interested in the old fashioned shaving, I will recommend him to your ebay shop for sure!

is the blade edge straight with the spine?
