新しいブランディングは、英国に本社を置くブランドコンサルティング企業のFutureBrand社の協力を得て開発されたもの。
タヒチ観光局ストラテジー・ディレクターの嶋田智之氏は、競合する各ディスティネーションのイメージカットを並べ、差別化を確立する必要性を説明した。
新たに、タヒチという場所、そこに住む人々、歴史や輝かしい未来、そしてフレンチポリネシアを新しい形で表現するブランディング戦略を発表した。

Tahiti tourism bureau announced its new cooperate brand all over the world simultaneously on June 18th.
The new branding was developed with the help of Future Brand, a UK based brand consulting company.
Mr. Shimada Tomoyuki, the strategy director of Tahiti tourism bureau, explained the need to differentiate from one destination to another to attract more tourists with the images cuts of each of the places.
He announced the new branding strategy to appeal Tahiti, its people, its history, its glorious future and French Polynesia with totally new approach.
