日本PCO協会は6月5日、ホテル日航東京で2014年度年次総会を開催した。
同協会は会員数が昨年３月末の80社・団体から101団体へと会員数を大幅に伸ばしており、年次総会も過去最大の約110人が参加して実施された。
総会の冒頭で、代表幹事を務める日本コンベンションサービス代表取締役社長の近浪弘武氏が、日本PCO協会と日本コンベンション事業協会と来年6月を目途に統合することをめざし、協議と準備を開始することを発表した。
Japanese PCO Association held the 2014 Annual Meeting at Hotel Nikko in Tokyo.
The members of the association have increased to 101 organizations from 80 organization since March last year. At this meeting, there were approx. 110 attendees, which recorded the largest attendance.
Mr. Hirotake Chikanami, the president of Japan Convention Services made the first speech at the meeting. He has spoken that Japan PCO Association and Japan Convention Business Association will start working for the merger next June
