こちらが長谷寺の本堂。国宝です。
傾斜地や崖の上に造られる懸造（かけづくり）と呼ばれる建築様式。
舞台がせり出すように造られているため、舞台造りとも呼ばれます。
見晴らしは最高。
舞台の周囲は木々に覆われ、秋は紅葉に包まれます。
本堂横手からカメラを構えると、長谷寺本堂に安置される「びんずる尊者」がシルエットで浮かび上がります。
