日本展示会協会は1月9日、ANAインターコンチネンタルホテル東京で新年賀詞交歓会を行ない、過去最多となる635人が参加した。
石積忠夫会長は展示会産業に対する明るい兆しとして、日展協会員がこの5年間で大幅にふえ続けている、昨年3月安倍首相が国会で大規模展示場の必要性を明言した、新規展示会が続々と立ち上がってきている、という３点に触れ、「今年は大きな山が動くとき。ぜひ展示会立国日本を実現したい」と挨拶した。

Japan Exhibition Association held the New Year convivial party on Jan. 9 at ANA Intercontinental Hotel Tokyo that gathered record-high 635 participants.
Chairman of association, Mr. ISHIZUMI, Tadao, addressed that “we will be facing a great leap so we would like to make Japan a country built on exhibitions while referring to the facts that the members of association has jumped up in the past five year as a positive sign towards future, Prime Minister Abe clearly stated the necessity of a large scale exhibition hall at the national assembly held last March and emergence of a new exhibition.
