居合刀で真剣を作ることは可能ですので、今回はこれを前提に見積もりをしました。
制作料金、送料、保険、輸出書類申請料、法的審査費用などの諸経費を含めて
全部で9800ドルです
ただし、前回、刀を物にあてるような使い方は勧められないと言ったのは
居合刀は、練習用の刀なので観賞用の刀より軽く作られています
軽い分だけ耐久性も観賞用の刀より低いので、メンテナンスが結構必要になります。
日本であれば、メンテナンスをしてくれる職人がいて環境が整っていますが
外国ではこのような環境が充実していません。

Iaikatana is lighter than the katanas make for display purposes because it is used for
practicing and training.As it is made lighter , the durability decreases and needs good
maintenance.There are craftsman in Japan who can provide maintenance which is not possible
outside Japan.

The length of the blade is about 76 cm. We think that you would want to have a basic Iaito made with a length that would make its weight around 1 Kg. Is this fine with you?
