中国にある4つのハイテク都市（北京、上海、深川、香港）を比較することによって、インターネット人口、アクセス数、ネット検閲に潜む香港の将来性を見いだした。香港市民の90％がネット環境を持っており、お隣の深川市民は香港に次いでいるが、その一方、意外にも上海のネット人口は4都市で最低となっている（66.2％）。
